My son started wearing these when he was only a couple of months old and even though they had an extra inch or so of space at the toe, they stayed on his feet. This is by far my favorite shirt in my closet. It actually is fitted the contours the body well. I'm about 5'11" and 155 lbs (not a big guy and I hate drowning in big shirts).
