Sony ICD-P520 Digital Voice Recorder with 256 MB Built-in Flash Memory and USB
Good while it lasted
This recorder does a pretty good job. When it actual records, that is. It eats batteries like there's no tomorrow because it never actually turns itself off from what I can tell. You can put it on hold, but it's never really off until you take the batteries out. So if you want to buy this, be sure to carry extra AAA batteries with you just incase. Although you should probably warned further that I

the transmitter didn't work as advertised, perhaps because the FM stations are pretty full in my area, but nonetheless, it didn't work for me.

ButtKicker BK-LINK RF Wireless System
Good concept, but had to return it
I bought this to eliminate a 35' subwoofer cable run that was generating some RF noise ("hum"). Unfortunately, while the BK-LINK setup eliminated the hum, it introduced a weird "thump": every few seconds, not on a regular schedule, the subwoofer would emit a low "thump", as if the RF receiver attached to it had received a channel change request or something. It was incredibly annoying since (a)

Magnavox Dvd Player
Good while it lasted...
I got this as a Christmas gift from some friends after my last DVD player gave up it's ghost. It's now July...about 7 months later...and this player is dead already. It was fine up until a week ago, where you had to open/close the DVD tray several times to make it read a DVD. Now it won't recognize any disc at all. Sure, it's cheap...but only lasting half a year is still too short for any kind

Sennheiser CX300-B Earbuds (Black)
Sennheiser cx-300 earbuds Black
Sennheiser CX300-B Earbuds (Black)
I rate these an F for function and design and an A for sound quality. The buds are difficult inserting into the ear canal, the left earbud cord is about 15 inches shorter than the right which makes it easy for the left bud to exit the ear frequently and the rubber bud covers falls off the actual bud frequently. All of these are horrible design flaws.

Canon PIXMA iP6700D Photo Printer (1441B002)
Decent (expensive) image printing - When it prints
This printer is a complete ink hog. While I am not a fan of spending so much money on ink, my major complaint about this aspect, is that for such a thirsty printer, it uses extremely small ink cartridges. This means having to change them entirely too often, and doing your best to keep spares around.
The other annoyance is the paper handling. It regularly says that there is no paper

XFX PVT88PYDF4 GeForce 8800GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Ready Video Card (
Good graphics, good value, but noisy fan is a deal
I'm having the same experience others have mentioned here: the fan runs much too loudly, and all the time. It's loud enough to be distracting during the games I bought the card for.
I will contact XFX support, but unless they can easily resolve this issue, I can't recommend the card. There are other 8800GT cards available; you'll pay more, but it might be worth it.

Harman Kardon Soundsticks II 3-Piece Plug and Play Multimedia Speaker System
Decent sound but lack of volume knob was a dealbre
The sound was pretty good, if not a bit too much bass..but the lack of a volume control knob turned out to be a bigger hassle than I even imagined it would be. I'm very proactive with my sounds as my MP3's are all over the place volume wise. To not be able to tell whether my actions would yield a louder/lower sound was the deal breaker. Not only that but you have to contort your fingers/wrist to u

3M Privacy Filter PF14.1W Notebook/ LCD Privacy Filter for Widescreen Notebooks
Toria
This item was purchased and just sits in a cabinet now. I do not like how it makes the words appear smaller and it is not good for road trips. I was told, it would minimize the suns glare when outdoors but it does not do that at all. However, if you are looking for this product to only filter privacy and nothing more, then it may be okay for you...just not for me! But then again, everyone ALW

100 Thick 3mil Polyethylene Plastic Record Outer Sleeves for 12" Vinyl Record Al
Too big and too thin.
I thought these sleeves were going to be similar to the ones my local record store uses for their merchandise. Boy was I wrong. First off, I thought that the 12 3/4" end was the end with the opening. It's not. So when your albums are sitting on a shelf, there's a huge empty space at the top of the cover. Also, if these are the 3 mil ones, I'd hate to see how thin the 2 mil ones are. My record s

Sharp YOP20H 1MB Electronic Organizer

This is a good organizer for someone who is in middle or high school. Or maybe even for someone who loses things easily so does not want to spend a lot of money on an actual palm. Its okay for what it is but it did not fit my needs. I ended up having to buy an actual palm and I gave this organizer to my little sister to play with.

Coby CX-CD114RED Personal CD Player
Eh, OK I guess
Outside of the tiny buttons that don't work very well, the tiny display that's really difficult to see except in the best light and the fact that it skips with every little bump, I guess it's good.
Spend a couple of dollars more for a player that has an anti-skip memory.

Intel SS4000-E Entry Storage System Intelligent Network Storage System
Serious usability, reliability, and performance pr
I purchased the LaCie implementation of this Intel small-office storage array early last year. The design specs for this Network Attached Storage array are impressive -- a four-drive storage array that can be configured as RAID 0, 1, or 5. Unfortunately, the system proved to be buggy from the outset. Despite many email exchanges with tech support, none of our users were ever able to see the arr

Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 950 Hybrid TV Stick
Low quality, charged a mint for "restocking fee".
The thing worked fine for me, although the quality was much less than i expected. It was okay if you are simply watching TV on your laptop in a small window, but I actually recorded the video to my hard-drive and burned them to a DVD, and although it played in the DVD player, the quality was terrible. This is an okay item if you only plan to watch TV on your computer.

After using the Mio C520 for over 3 months now I truly regret I bought it. the device performs poorly in route calculation choosing the most bizarre routes you would ever imagine.
Fortunately also owned a Garmin 200W and the TomTom One. both outperform the Mio in suggesting much faster and more logical routes. THIS IS THE MOST BASIC FUNCTION OF A GPS DEVICE!

D-Link WIRELESS MUSIC PLAYER 2.5 ( DSM-120 )
Who needs a DSM 120?
The Unit I received probably works as designed, though not desired, which prompted the question: who needs the DSM 120?
First impression: it looks unnecessarily bulky. The menu and buttons are intuitive enough that I set up most of the stuff without even reading a manual. The wireless WEP works well. Sound quality is decent for me.
There are two major features: a file

Linksys Media Center Extender
Constantly locks up
I bought this product with the WRT600N dual-band gigabit router with storage link (the gigabit router had its own issues - I will write another review for it). The media center extender locked up consistently or would lose its connection to the network (using 2.4 Ghz band on the WRT600N as the WRT600N didn't seem to be able to handle both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz devices operating simultaneously). Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum
Great sound, bad design
As far as audio quality goes, the card sounds great, but the design is terrible. Initially, I really liked the idea of the front breaker box and being able to use the remote control with it.
