The best version yet. (I have been using Finale since 1990)

This is a very powerful program. Yes, there is a learning curve. That is because it can do so much. I have been using Finale for 20 years now and I assure you this is the best version so far.

It comes with plenty of tutorial videos so it is easy to get started right away. If you run into any snags there is an excellent forum available at [...]. Many expereinced Finale users monitor the board and you will usually get an answer to your question in less than a few hours; sometimes, in a few minutes.

Don't beleive all the Sibelius marketing hype. It is no easier to use than Finale. Just make sure you watch the tutorial videos and you will get up to speed in no time. Once you learn it, there is nothing you can't do.

Goto Makemusic's website and download the demo. You have 30 days to try it out and see if you like it. Make sure you watch all the tutorial videos first and then the program will make much more sense to you.

If you can't afford Finale at this time, you can purchase PrintMusic for much less money and then upgrade to Finale at a later time when you need more features. Printmusic is a scaled down version of Finale. It offers a decent amount of options but can get limiting if you are working on scores that are larger and more complicated.
