Product Description:

Kids can hop on this heavy-duty ride-on for a wild, rugged ride. The Gaucho Superpower Ride-On comes fully equipped with all the features that both kids and parents love.

Performance features include: dual 24-volt high-performance motor; three-speed gearshift that controls the speed on grass, dirt or hard surfaces; variable speed foot accelerator that moves the Gaucho 2.5, 5 or 7.5 mph forward or 2.5 mph in reverse; and high-speed lockout that keeps mom and dad in charge.

In addition to tons of great performance features, the Gaucho also comes complete with all the bells and whistles, including: rubberized tires, disk brakes, rear suspension, adjustable padded seats, rearview mirrors, seatbelts, electronic radio, working horn and glove compartment. My Son had a Blast

I wanted to write this review to balance out some of the one star reviews. I think there is more motivation to write a review if you have problems. My son has thoroughly enjoyed his Gaucho for more then two years. He is really sad that he has outgrown it and cannot drive it any more. We did have a problem with the main circuit board but they sent us a replacement right away under warranty and no, it didn't have to come from Italy. I think they're making them in the US now. The problem with the board is the ony reason I didn't give it five stars. The most fun my son had with his was blowing the doors off the other kid's ride-ons in the neighborhood. The 24 volt Gaucho is MUCH faster than any of the other ride-ons. The rear suspension and disc brakes are cool too.

Fantastic Toy

My kids have had this truck for about a year and half now with no major issues. Battery power is great....the kids lose interest before the battery runs out. I agree that the seatbelts are hard for a kid to take off once put on. Also the radio in ours has stopped working. But the truck is fast, easy to handle and looks the part. A great buy...worth the extra money v's a regular 12v ride-on.

Huge mistake

I bought this for my sons birthday. It has been broken for months... They have sent me parts twice and try to talk you over the phone on how to be your own mechanic. There is no service center within 4 hours of where I live and they can not seem to figure out what the problem is. Do not buy one. I have tried to get a new one, I thought I had a lemon but I see from my research that they are all faulty. I am turning in a complaint to the better business bureau and I am taking it up with American Express for them to deal with. I have wasted hours on the phone and In 8 months my boy has only had it working for 1!!!!

The worst purchase I have ever made

My children got this Jeep for Christmas. Since then, I have been on the phone with Peg Perego's service department 8 times. Twice they have sent me parts (after spending over an hour each time on the phone while they attempted to tell me how to fix the problem) and once it has been sent to the Peg Perego service center. Now it is sitting in my garage waiting to go back, yet again, to be repaired. It is also very flimsy!!! I would not even suggest this to my worst enemy.

DO NOT BUY

I bought the Guacho 24 volt ride on toy for my son about 2 months ago. I have had problems with it being able to run 5 seperate times. I have also taken it into peg perego's service center and they have even addmitted that this toy has a mjor design flaws. I am now in the process of seeing what peg perego will do but I think that this is going to turn into a legal battle. Do yourself a favor and look for something else!!!
