Product Description:

With this just-for-Baby piano, LeapFrog offers classical piano play with light-up keys and leveled learning that advances as baby learns and grows. Three learning screens let Baby choose the level that matches his abilities and interests.

Six months: "Make a Melody" develops eye-tracking trough twinkling lights that respond as baby presses piano keys and hears nursery rhymes. Baby sees Tad's smile and twinkling lights, and hears five instrumental nursery rhymes that play when any key is pressed. Encourages visual development. Introduces cause and effect and nursery rhymes.

Nine months: "Musical Rainbow" introduces colors and five musical instruments. Each key press is rewarded with lights, color names and instrumental riffs and rhythms. Baby sees a fan of bright colors, musical instruments and light-up color keys. Baby hears colors and five instrument names.

Requires 3 "AA" batteries, included. Measures approximately 10" x 10.5".

RFun for many ages and small enough to easily transport

My 5 month old is amused by the sounds and lights, fits perfectly on bumbo tray or highchair. We recently were with children 18 months to 10 years and they all took a turn playing. Great value for less than $[...]

My son loves this toy!

My 2-year-old absolutely loves this toy. He got it originally as a 1st Christmas present and he completely wore it out! Now, I've purchased a 2nd one for him and he continues to enjoy it to this day.

Fun toy

My son really enjoys this toy overall. I was also happy to see that it came with batteries since so many products these days need you to have your own. The only complaint I have about this product is that the tabs are way too easy to keep on pulling out when you want to switch learning stages. My son loves to pull them out and then he can't get them back in there the right way. We even tried cutting off the circles on the tops of them to make it harder to get out. On the other hand, it is good that you don't have to have any of the tabs in place to make the piano play. Most of the time, my son just plays with the piano without the tabs in there. We are still very happy with this product overall.

Has lots of different instrument sounds (e.g. drum, piano, trumpet, etc.) Insert cards and interaction are a little advanced for the young ones but they all like to bang on the keys

musical and fun to play with baby

I bought this toy for my daughter and a friend's baby. She is almost 5 months old so she is too young to play with it by herself, but she likes to follow the light up keys and since she loves music, it is definitely a keeper. It has three stages for development and learning. We have not moved on to the second or third, but so far this is a great little toy and I would give it as a gift again and would recommend it.
