Good tool, maybe one of the best, but could be better 6/20/2008 Overall, this is a good tool. Quality is excellent. Everything is very accessible. However when I look at the design, I believe they could have made it a bit smaller, or added a couple additional tools, without increasing the overall size. Never leaves my side. 6/18/2008 An incredible piece of hardware. My wave covers all the bases, but this is the kind of tool that never leaves your side. I live in Hawaii right near the beach so my tools always rust. The high-grade materials used in the Skeletool CX haven't rusted on me even to the slightest degree after extensive time and use. This tool has the important basics that will prove vital should you find yourself in a survival situation. I find a hundred new uses for it every day. Thank You. Was this review helpful?
Drips with leatherman made in USA quality 6/17/2008 As somebody mentioned, it looks like a tool that "the alien" would carry. When first unpackaged the knife blade was kinda stuck, it took some real force to free it up, but it's fine after opening and closing a few times. The blade itself is razor sharp and requires some handling care. The supplied extra tool bit appears to be behind a part of the tool that would rotate out of the way for access. I finally discovered that you just use the tip of your finger to ease it out of it's little recess. Thank You. Was this review helpful?

This tool is so far superior to anything non swiss it is amazing. QUALITY IS TOP NOTCH. VERY LIGHTWEIGHT!!!! Interesting that this is made in USA, versus China or Taiwan or wherever Gerber is made :) Very easy to use, screwdriver especially. Everything else is in the drawer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Thank You.
