PLAY is the only Video Game MAG I have ever subscribed to and currently it's the only subscription I have period. It has great visual style, and often covers games I wanna play. But I'm sure it's not for everyone, and no good magazine of any interest should be.

Got this as a gift for my mom who just took up painting. She called to say she got two issues at once, which isn't great because you pay a hefty price for only 6 months of issues and she got one third of the gift at once. The only problem with buying magazines is the wait time until you get the first issue. Science News magazine was delivered two months after order date. The information in the first issue was kind of blah but was still informative. Would suggest it if you are looking to keep up on scientific issues. read more..

Charleston Magazine

I love reading my new issue of Charleston Magazine. Each issue is bursting with interesting articles about Charleston or the immediate region. If you're interested in Charleston then this resource is a must.

It is kinda over-sized as magazines go but that makes it even better. It is roughly the size of Fast Company or Wired but twice the depth-size. A real enjoyable magazine.

Excellent magazine. I've had a subscription for a couple of years now. Great how to articles, reviews, and the latest mac news. The macworld website is also a great resource.
Amazon offered a far better price for a 1 year subscription than the price of renewing through macworld.

My grandson was elated that something came in the mail for him. We read it immediately. He enjoyed the pictures,the jokes an when he comes back from his dad's we will make the little book and do some of the craft projects. I can't imagine any child not liking this publcation. We live in Texas, so I thought this magazine would inspire some Texas adventures. While the magazine is great, be prepared to wait a long time to get this after you order. I ordered in mid-April and actually got the first issue in mid-July and that was the August issue. In this day and age of technology, why does it take so long to get a magazine out? Country Sampler is always interesting to look at and there are items to purchase which I have not done yet. If you like country collectibles, it is a good magazine to peruse. Some items are a little too expensive for the quality but overall I rate this a 4 out of 5 stars. read more..

I subscribed to this magazine based upon multiple sources recommending it. I had been buying it on the newstand so I know it is a useful mag. Amazon, however, it not the place to order magazines.
