Works good, but doesnt transfer to other devices

When connected to the Olympus recorder, it works great. It doesnt obstruct the sound from my cellphone or head set (though it doesnt fit well with the bluetooth ear bud), and provides clear sound.
My only complaint is that when plugging it into some other devices (like my computer's microphone jack) it doesnt seem to work... I guess I'll need some kind of adapter.
For the price, I'm pleased overall.

I read the other reviews with high hopes that this product was the simple solution I have searched for. I do research for a living and I'm often traveling when interviews need to be conducted. Needless to say, I have often had great difficulty with recording, but this solves the problem simply and beautifully. Even better, it is so reasonably priced. Bravo to Olympus for making this available.

I purchased this for my mother because she had sold someone something very expensive and being from a different era accepted that the person would pay her when she said she would pay her. Well, a year and 4 million excuses later, the woman still did not pay my mother for the purchase. It was clear that this woman had no intention of paying her and in effect was swindling an elderly lady who only sold her possession to help pay for her chemotherapy. I hate to say it, but some people suck - big time!!!

Anyway, I used this device to get this woman to admit, numerous times, that she was going to send my mother the money she owed her. The last phone call was the best, when I informed her that I had been taping our conversations numerous times and a judge wasn't going to like the fact that she was clearly trying to swindle my mother. And the judge didn't!!! Thanks to this device, not only did he rule in my mother's favor but he also padded on a considerable amount for what she put my mother through. He also told this woman that if she did not pay by a certain date, he would forward this case to the DA because he believed that what she did, in effect, was grand larceny. Needless to say, my mother received all the money awarded her two days later.

I cannot recommend this simple device enough. If you make a handshake deal with someone and they reneg, or try to rip you off as in my mother's case, this device can give you the proof that you need to take that person to court. That is only one way to ues this device. Others here have stated they use the device to enforce contracts, or to ensure that both parties are on the same page. Whatever your need, or even if you feel you do not need it right now, it's a good idea to have one of these devices in your home and/or office. You never know when it might come in handy.

Quality recording and clarity

This product was puchased as an investigative tool and after one use, provided amazing clarity and quality transfer of voice and sound to a digital recorder. The sound quality was even better after it was downloaded to computer for storage. I would highly recommend it! The price is great and the adapters allow for various changes in users or with recording devices.
