Recording quality is great, but I am concerned with the thin diameter cord. When they make them this skinny, a short usually occurs before too long.

My Best Telephone Recording Ever

(User of Olympus DVR and mic for a year now)
I've been using various deviced to record customer service or support calls for later review since the 1970's. All of them have had mediocre results. With my Olympus Digital Recorder and this TP-7 microphone I have had perfect call recording. I do now have the voice level problems some have because I use a Plantronics headset which covers both ears with a noise canceling mic. That gives room and isolates the microphone so it's both comfortable to use, and the voices of both conversations are the same. I'm also using a Plantronics switcher which has it's own volume control which I set at it's highest level. I've finally found a simple and very accurate way to record conversations so I don't have to focus on taking notes during service setup calls or calls to customer service.

This is a great tool for podcasters and interviewers. it makes it so easy to get a recording of any phone conversation. It is part of my kit bag!
