I loved this movie 6/3/2008 Although I generally am not a big fan of "chick flicks" this was one of my favorite movies of 2007. It's the type of movie that makes you both laugh and cry. Be sure to have tissues handy when you watch it. Even the guys in the audience were laughing at the funny parts. Oh, and for you Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans, James Marsters has a decent sized role as a husband to the main character's best friend. I was pleasantly surprised to see his name in the opening credits, and then almost didn't recognize him because he is a brunet in the movie. Thank You. Was this review helpful?
More than the typical romance movie. 6/3/2008 I enjoyed this one(though I love most romance movies) more than usual. Mainly because most of the movie is not about some girl trying to get some relationship (girl and boy meet through some miracle, attraction, fight and get back together...). What she goes through and how coaches her through the grief is awesome and even though the result is not (like usually) immediate she ends up finding her way. Thank You. Was this review helpful?
Great movie - most powerful the first time watched 6/1/2008 This was such a great movie. I don't usually cry in movies but I was sobbing in this one, but don't let that turn you off because this is the type of movie that makes you laugh and cry and the same time so while I was sobbing I was cracking up. Don't believe the critics! 6/1/2008 This may not be Citizen Kane but it is a lovely movie about dealing with loss. The actors all do fine jobs and it is fun to see Gerard Butler of 300 as a sweet,lovable guy so different from the one yelling "This is Sparta"! Thank You. Was this review helpful?
