If there was a way to update codes, (I have the PS2 Slim, no USB), I'd give this cheat device 5 stars. Like others have mentioned, there is no longer support for Codebreaker. It also won't work with some games, although they're listed in the menu. "Greatest Hits" versions won't work with Codebreaker. And no specific instructions on use. I found that I have to choose the game from the menu, select the cheats, then remove the Codebreaker disc and immediately put in the game disc, without restarting the PS2.

Positives: Codebreaker gets me through most games to learn the game without reading "Walkthroughs". It has codes for 1700 games and you can manually add codes to your memory card, if you can find working codes. YouTube has some tutorials on adding new codes to Codebreaker. I only buy games that are on the Codebreaker menu.

I bought my used Codebreaker from an Ebay seller for 34.00. I would never pay the 100.00 some sellers want. A better idea would be to have two, or three chip in to buy the Codebreaker. Once you play a game, the codes are saved in the memory card. If you can get Codebreaker at a reasonable price, or share one, I recommend it.

honestly i bought mine for 20 to 30 dollors so if i were u i would not buy any thing from theses sellers cause thay are way over priced but i lost mine and now im looking for 1 so juststay away from the sellers that are trying to sell for more than 30

The Codebreaker works great. Although I found out I needed a specific flash drive in order to transfer codes and saves, right now I only needed to just spice up old games.

yes code breaker is the best cheat system i ever used but the price they want for it on here is way to much when i bought mine at game stop it was only 30.00. i resently lost mine and was looking for one to buy but im not goin to spen 100.00 dollers more for one eather.

the item was wraped up like ti were an brand new broduct once i opened it i notice the the disc had an huge scratch on it it doesnt work and i tried to return it but got no response
