Great, but a battery HOG 10/21/2007 At 3 weeks old my baby already loves this mobile and can see the black and white stripes and recognize motion in it. The music is a great choice and isn't too loud or too soft. However, we have used it on about 5 cycles (15 minutes each) and we already need new batteries for it. That alone will cost us over $50 a year in batteries for this toy! Thank You. Was this review helpful?
My Baby LOVES IT 10/4/2007 I have this mobile since my baby was born, she is now 3 months old and she stills loves it!!!. When she was a new born she got relaxed with the music and now she follow the animals and talk to them. At night whe she is tired she falls sleep listening to the music. I guess every baby has their own personality some will like some won't. let's hope that if you get this for your baby he/she will love it as my girl does. Also if you care about giving a little more to yopur baby, babies enjoy the black and white color, they can not see shapes very well so this spirals call their atention very well. Thank You. This one seemed to offer quite a bit of sensory stimulation so we purchased it. He quickly improved, and now he's doing fine. I am very pleased with the purchase, and I really like that you can leave the music box attatched to the crib after the mobile is taken off. Money well spent. Baby Loves it! 9/30/2007 This mobile is the best money I've spent on a toy yet for my 2 month old. She loves it - watches it for a whole cycle and its often the only thing that will keep her occupied long enough for mommy to get dressed in the morning etc. Great toy! Thank You. Works well, but has a flaw 9/23/2007 In general, this mobile is fine. My baby does enjoy it very much. It can entertain her for quite a while if she's not in a tired mood. It is true that it is a very large mobile and the noises can become annoying for adults. But she doesn't seem to mind. My main complaint is that it needs a master on/off switch or an on/off button that is out of reach of the baby. My baby is very into kicking her legs. She even kicks in her sleep and the kicking causes her to roam all over the crib. Lately, her kicking has been landing on the on/off button of the mobile and so it turns on at 5 AM and wakes her up upon which she wants to play! Ugh. She now thinks of it as a game to try and turn it on and off. We have tried putting the mobile at the far end of the crib but as I said, she roams all over the crib - starts out on one side at the beginning of the night and ends up on the other in a few hours. The other thing that I wish the mobile did was actually help my baby get sleepy. I had read so many books recommending turning on the mobile to help baby get to sleep. And this mobile came with suggestions that suggested one of the music selections for bedtime. But there is no way my baby would sleep if this mobile was on. It is purely for playtime purposes. Not sure this is the fault of the mobile though but rather my baby's temperment? Anyway, overall I am happy we got this. It was a shower gift. I think it has served us well. It probably isn't going to stay up much longer though if my baby keeps using it to wake us up at 5 AM. :) Thank You. Was this review helpful?
