I recently purchased a Tom Tom One at the same time that a friend bought a Navigon with Text to Speech for about $50 more. The text to speech is a huge advantage. We took both on a recent trip and it was amazing how often the Tom Tom "Turn Right" voice command led to confusion over which street to turn on.
