I have just spend 2 hours with my new Ion, and I am comparing to the original RB1 drums that I was using in RB2.
The Ion's accuracy and lack of crosstalk on this are amazing. The velocity sensitive pads are fantastic. It feels solid and looks great.

We were greatly disappointed in the picture quality. We had a 10 year old projection TV that had a much better picture. The set itself fit nicely on a cabinet we had so in that respect it looks all right in our living room. I guess we expected a great picture and we didn't get it.

This camera is exactly fits my bill for size and perfomance. The optics are superb (though not up to my 1940 Leica :). The colors are very good and there are a remarkable number of settting to chose from (and learn.) I've used Nikon and Cannon equivalents the Panasonic more than holds its own by com
